POST ELECTION REPORT ON THE VIABILITY OF DEMOCRACY- SAN FRANCISCO CHAPTER (II):
With California being the seat of celebrity and a symbol of a way of life deserving a celebrity lifestyle, it is imperative that the world knows the citizens of this fair state believe in this myth. The elections at APAture and here at Multiverse/RX deliver the promise of this myth to the world. By voting Arnold Schwarzenegger as their choice for Global President, Californians show their love for celebrity. The way in which this confidence is displayed through the political maturity of the election process also indicates that San Franciscans are less inclined towards reactionary attempts to steal the spotlight from their southern siblings in Los Angeles through hasty assassinations of gay politicians, mass suicides, or drug culture, and more prepared to believe in the power of good looking, muscular Fame.

The elections at Multiverse/RX gallery were unusual in that a write-in candidate won enough votes to be first runner up. That this candidate was, in fact the “Sexy Entertainment” at the actual election tells us here at GE that San Franciscans still have a bit of work to do regarding class division; you do NOT vote the servants into power. For the time being we will consider this flaw a part of that city’s quirky charm.

POST ELECTION REPORT ON THE VIABILITY OF DEMOCRACY- BERLIN CHAPTER:
That the voters of Berlin elected Arnold Schwarzenegger shows us that 60 years after the Third Reich, the Germans remain progressive in their vision of Global domination. To understand this we must acknowledge the power of celebrity as a political force. In the past the cult of personality emerged in the form of Fascism, while in a post-Reagan era it is the merging of film stars, media moguls and billionaires into a new class of politician Schwarzenegger won clearly by a large margin, followed by Milosevic and Stalin, repectively, the two runner's up having a proven track record as political visionaries and men of action. The Germans believing in Schwarzenegger as pure potential is significant as a break from more conservative forms of domination and gives GE hope in Germany as a leader in Global Capitalism.

It should be noted that the write-in candidates at the Berlin elections show an understanding of the overall project of GE. Russia's Putin, England's Tony Blair, Dem Liebe Gott, and women like Margaret Thatcher and Bridgit Bardot are all candidates worthy of consideration for future elections. In fact, this report strongly encourages that the diversity of races and cultures represented in this year's official candidates be extended further next year in the idea of women as capable of repression and atrocity.

POST ELECTION REPORT ON THE VIABILITY OF DEMOCRACY- SAN FRANCISCO CHAPTER (I):
The elections held at APAture/Soma Arts indicates that San Francisco’s cosmopolitan image and multicultural reputation also reflects the demographic shifts seen in California over the last twenty years. Here we are speaking specifically about voter’s readiness to embrace an immigrant as their leader. Both runner’s up both being Asian serves to illustrate that the hard work done by leaders across the pacific in models of governing can and must be transferred over the world so that Globalization does not fall solely into the realm of economic “development”, so that all people see themselves in their leader. At the same time, with the winner of this election being Arnold Schwarzenegger it is important to underscore that Celebrity is stronger than Racial Profiling.

To counter this positive trend showing Californians reaching out to the world is that at this election a large percentage of Eligible Voters did cast ballots for write-in candidates, many of whom have a history in tepid, predictable and Left-leaning politics. Nancy Pelosi and Matt Gonzales for instance, both have strong ties to the Bay Area, illustrating that San Francisco’s political fabric still is woven with weak threads of provincialism, and that for all the posturing as a tolerant city, there remains a chance that they still look more inward, to their own, than out to the world for their political answers.

POST ELECTION REPORT ON THE VIABILITY OF DEMOCRACY- SWITZERLAND CHAPTER:
The fact that the election was a tie between two running candidates Milosevic and Schwarzenegger, receiving a combined 10% of counted votes, and the remaining 90% being write-in candidates shows that the Swiss have only a limited knowledge of their options. While write-in candidates remain a possibility for Global Leadership, the Swiss choices for such a figure remain firmly rooted in their tradition of weak passivity. Nobel Prize winners, peace activists and martyred rock stars represent a school of thought that died with a credible Left in the 1960's. Global Elections would consider a strong, populist candidate from a new construction of Leftist thinking should such an individual provide us with the challenge of turning a new ideology into commodity. Such persons are useful for their ideas but noted for their short life spans.

That 10% of the voters recognized their opportunity to participate in a unified world under Global Capitalism does, however illustrate that a segment of the Swiss population understands the workings of modern Democracy and Economics. In the near future such persons could be useful to GE as facilitators, educators and informers as the tide of Globalization rises throughout the world.

For the present Global Elections will allow the Swiss their neutrality by withdrawing their right to participate in Democracy. It should also be noted that the majority of them did not dance at either the pre, or post Election Parties.

POST ELECTION REPORT ON THE VIABILITY OF DEMOCRACY- CHICAGO CHAPTER:
Chicago, Illinois was chosen by Global Elections as a special city in its relationship to the idea of Empire in the United States. As the US was spreading its eagle talons westward towards Oregon, Washington and California, and spreading disease and fear to the natives of those regions, Chicago was already situated in the center of that continent as a great city of an Empire in progress. Since the days of the Industrial Revolution however, little has come from that Windy City. Its buildings no longer look so tall and it's position of influence in Empire no longer so vital.

With Chicago being seated in the center of America as that region's largest city does provide a good framework for testing to what extent the values of Money, Family and God permeate a large, modern city.

The elections held at Version>04 were sparsely attended, indicating a lack of real interest in the Politics of Domination. The elections held there also showed a significant lack of write-in candidates coming from either left or right politics. Schwarzenegger did win that election by the majority of the few votes cast. With the above facts in mind, GE finds Chicago to be of little significance politically other than as an indication that apathy is a "green light" to Total Empire, and that subsequently Chicago is perfectly suited for our modern and visionary brand of Democracy.

POST ELECTION REPORT ON THE VIABILITY OF DEMOCRACY- ITALY CHAPTER:
The first city to host Global Elections was Milan, Italy. This was not by accident. Milan is distinct in Italy as a modern city that has succeeded in shedding its quaint, European charm for a newer, more uniform look. People with money from anywhere in the world would feel comfortable shopping there. In Milan the embracing arms of Capitalism have opened for the poor and the needy; they provide cheap labor to exchange for empty promises. It is for these and other reasons that GE sought to test the ripeness of our slogan, "One love, One World, One Leader" in that most modern and globalized of cities.

With the Italians used to a parliamentary system inclusive of several ideologies, it was expected that several hours of discussion would be needed to persuade them of the benefits of the GE platform. By the end of the elections it was proven that the Italians were ready for the vision of a unified world under one leader. Mao won the Milan election, with Mussolini and Pol Pot being runners up. All three candidates were at the time leaders presented by GE, and though there were several write-in candidates, it was by far clear that a nostalgia for the good old days of Fascism could unify this State that was a historic pioneer in Empire.

Indeed it was the citizens of Milan who steered a future course of Global Elections by the number of write-in ballots for Berlusconi. Only a city as sophisticated as this, with it's fine shops, hotels and restaurants could provide us with the idea of Head of State as Celebrity. It was to be a future strategy for us to provide a Ruler for You!
